GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL (GFS) BIOGAS TANKS MANUFACTURING PROCESS & TECHNOLOGY
Heritage Steel Storage Pvt. Ltd.
manufactures Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) Biogas Tanks using gas-tight joints, compatible sealants, and projectapproved accessories where required, compatible sealants and projectapproved accessories are used where required for biogas applications. Compliance with applicable AWWA D103, ISO standards and approved project specifications wherever applicable.
PANEL CUTTING & CNC PUNCHING
Steel panels are cut as per tank design. CNC punching is done for nut-bolt holes, manholes, nozzles, and required openings.
SHOT BLASTING / SURFACE PREPARATION
Panels are cleaned through shot blasting to remove rust, dust, scale, and impurities for better coating bonding.
GLASS ENAMELLING
Glass enamel coating is applied on the prepared steel panels to provide corrosion resistance and chemical protection
FURNACE FUSION
Enamel-coated panels are fired at high temperature, where glass fuses with steel to form a strong protective layer.
PANEL INSPECTION & TESTING
Each panel is checked for coating quality, thickness, surface finish, impact resistance, and hole alignment before dispatch.
TANK ASSEMBLY
Panels are assembled ring-wise at site using high-quality nuts, bolts, sealant, and accessories as per tank layout.
QUALITY CHECK
Each component is checked for dimensional inspection, alignment verification, weld inspection, trial assembly (where applicable) and Final quality inspection before dispatch
