GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL (GFS) TANKS MANUFACTURING PROCESS & TECHNOLOGY
The glass enamel coating is permanently fused to the steel surface at high temperature, producing a chemically inert, highly corrosion-resistant finish with exceptional bond strength. PANEL CUTTING & PUNCHING
Steel panels are cut as per tank design. Nut-bolt holes, manholes, nozzles, and required openings are accurately punched for easy site assembly.
SHOT BLASTING / SURFACE PREPARATION
Panels are cleaned through shot blasting to remove rust, dust, scale, and impurities. This helps create a strong bonding surface for glass enamel coating.
PRE-TREATMENT
Panels are prepared before coating to improve surface quality, coating adhesion, and long-term durability.
ENAMELLING PROCESS
A special glass enamel coating is applied on the steel panels to provide corrosion resistance, chemical protection, and smooth surface quality.
FURNACE FIRING / GLASS FUSION

INSPECTION & TESTING
