GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL (GFS) TANKS WITH INTERNAL LINER
Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) Tanks with Internal Liner
combine the corrosion resistance of glass-fused steel with an engineered internal liner, providing enhanced protection for stored liquids and extended service life in demanding applications.
One of the major benefits of GFS technology is that it reduces the need for future painting or frequent coating maintenance. The glass-fused surface protects the tank from rust and helps increase its service life. These tanks can also handle a wider range of pH levels, making them suitable for water, wastewater, industrial liquid, fire water, biogas, and agricultural applications.
Complies with applicable AWWA D103, ISO standards, and approved project specifications, wherever applicable, ISO standards and approved project specifications wherever applicable. GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL (GFS) TANKS WITH INTERNAL LINER The internal liner provides an additional protective barrier between the stored liquid and the steel tank, making it suitable for applications where enhanced chemical compatibility or product isolation is required.

GLASS-FUSED-TO-STEEL (GFS) TANKS WITH INTERNAL LINER – MANUFACTURING PROCESS & TECHNOLOGY
PANEL CUTTING & CNC PUNCHING
Tank design is based on storage capacity, liquid properties, operating temperature, wind load, seismic load, foundation conditions and projectspecific requirements.
SHOT BLASTING / SURFACE PREPARATION
Panels are cleaned through shot blasting to remove dust, rust, scale, and surface impurities. This process helps improve coating bonding and surface finishing
GLASS ENAMELLING & FURNACE FUSION
Glass enamel coating is applied on the prepared steel panels. The panels are then fired in a high-temperature furnace, where glass fuses with steel to create a smooth, strong, and corrosion-resistant surface
PANEL INSPECTION
At the site, panels are assembled ring-wise using high-quality nuts, bolts, and accessories. The tank structure is built with proper alignment to ensure strength, stability, and long service life
INTERNAL LINER INSTALLATION
A specialized internal liner membrane is fixed inside the tank. The liner works as a protective barrier and prevents stored liquid from direct contact with the tank shell, improving hygiene, leak protection, and corrosion resistance.
FINAL TESTING & COMMISSIONING
After complete assembly, the tank is checked for fitting, liner fixing, leakage protection, accessories, and overall performance. Once testing is completed, the tank is commissioned for safe storage operation.
